The Turbine Water Meters are used for applications, where flows are moderate to high, but occasionally low. For example, the measurement of potable cold or hot water in commercial and industrial services. The flow shall be in one direction.
Operation:
The rotor turns proportionately to the volume of water flowing through the meter by water flowing through the turbine section. A magnetic drive transmits the motion of rotor to a driven magnet located under the hermetically sealed reading register. To a gear train, the magnetic is connected, which translates the rotations into totalized volume and displayed on the dial register. Only moving parts are the rotor assembly and vertical shaft.
