    Introduction

    The silica sand mechanical filter are widely used in water treatment and purification of sewage. It can remove the SS (suspended solids) and other impurities through sand bed. It's the most economical and efficient solution. The filtering equipment tactfully simultaneously processes filtration and sand washing in different positions, thus requiring no configuration of clean water reservoir, high-power backwash pump or halt for backwash, and enabling continuous and stable operation of the filter. During the filtration, filter materials (quartz sand) flows downward while raw water flow upward, making full contact between the two to intersect suspended substances. Featuring high filtering efficiency, low energy consumption and easy operation, it can be widely applied to various water treatment processes.
